The Never Have I Ever Club Mary Jayne Baker

I am so thrilled to join another blog tour for one of my absolute favourite authors.

Robyn Bloom thought Ash Barnes was the love of her life – until one day he announced he was leaving her to fly halfway across the world.

Months later, Robyn is struggling to move on – but then she has a brainwave: The Never Have I Ever Club. Her handsome next-door neighbour Will helps her bring their fellow Yorkshire villagers together for some carpe-diem-inspired fun.

From burlesque dancing to Swedish massages, everyone has plenty of bucket-list activities to try, but it doesn’t take long for Robyn to realise what – or who – her heart truly desires: Will.

There’s just one problem: he’s Ash’s twin brother.

Make that two problems: Ash is moving home… and he wants Robyn back.

I need to start by saying, wow she’s done it again. This is a fantastic author who hasn’t produced a book that I haven’t given five stars. This one has been worth the wait and is a beautiful read. I have nothing negative I can say about this one. It is filled with gorgeous characters, a great plot and a romance that would melt even the coldest of hearts. All I need Mary-Jayne to do now is find me a real life man who is a mix of Will Barnes and Simon (A Question of Us). I am convinced she has a talent for reading my mind, then creating my perfect man.

This book is like many other books by this author, pulled me in from the very beginning and made it impossible to put down. However, in other ways completely different, I have loved the triangle between the characters from the off. Although, I took Will’s side very early on.

This book has made me laugh, want to shout at Mary-Jayne and has left me smiling and extremely happy with a huge book hangover. I don’t know how any book could be as wonderful as this one. I really hope the author will consider a follow on to this one. These are characters I feel hugely invested in and need more. Saying that, whatever the next book is I will be first in line, tweeting to be on the blog tour before it is arranged.

The cover is absolutely gorgeous, I do love the bright cover and already excited to order a paperback version of this absolutely magical story for my shelf. This has been the perfect length but I would love more in a follow on book.

I would absolutely recommend this fantastic book. Five stars truly doesn’t show how wonderful this book is. This has been the perfect read. It has definitely been worth the wait.
