Today is my turn on the tour for this magical story.
This is just a beautiful cover, perfect for a fairytale. The title alone was enough to attract me to this book then I saw the cover and fell in love.
Is Paris the city of happily ever afters?
Workaholic art historian Aurora Black doesn’t have time for fairy tales or Prince Charmings, even in the most romantic city in the world. She has recently been hired by a Parisian auction house for a job that could make or break her career. Unfortunately, daredevil journalist Cédric Castel seems intent on disrupting Aurora’s routine.
As Aurora and Cédric embark on a journey across France, they get more than they bargained for as they find themselves battling rogue antiques dealers and personal demons, not to mention a growing attraction to each other.
But with the help of a fairy godmother or two, could they both find their happily ever afters?
I absolutely loved this book, I didn’t want to put it down! I managed to read this book in just one sitting.
This is an easy to read story which allows you to escape to Paris with main character Aurora. The characters are likeable and relatable.
This is my first read by Marie Laval- but it certainly won’t be the last. I have really enjoyed the plot and found that her writing style is easy to suck you into the story and forget about everything else.
This is a perfect story for lovers of romance books, it is a thoroughly enjoyable read which I didn’t want to put down. I love anything fairytale related so was instantly attracted to this book just by the title. I definitely haven’t been disappointed. This for me is a five star book!
